Creative Economy Planning Group Launched to Establish Crowdfunding - Law Firm Hanbyul...
The Korea Digital Finance Institute launched a Creative Economy planning group to establish crowdfunding on November 11, holding its first meeting at the Hanbyul law firm and agreeing to hold weekly preparatory meetings to ready the upcoming Creative Economy report conference. Cho Seong-gap, Kim Dong-yeon and Kim Su-dong were appointed as joint leaders, and representatives from the Korea Digital Finance Lab, industry associations, small business councils and other organizations joined the committee. The group said crowdfunding aligns with government creative-economy goals by promoting startups, youth ventures, job creation and addressing funding shortages, and Cho said, "If crowdfunding takes root, the public will become the funding actors and foster high-potential companies."
