Law firm Hanbyul (Managing Partner Kim Yong-won) held its 14th anniversary celebration at a restaurant in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul, on March 19, with 90 lawyers and staff members in attendance.

The ceremony was held in conjunction with the retirement ceremony of Kim Yong-won (63, 10th batch of the Judicial Training Institute), who has served as the firm's chief counsel since 2007 and will retire on the 9th of next month. The staff presented Kim with a commemorative plaque (pictured).

Kim, who was a prosecutor in charge of the brotherhood support case, will run in the 21st general election in April 2020.

"Hanbyul has grown steadily over the past 14 years without any divisions or reductions," said Sung-Hoon Jeon (45-43), a partner at the firm. "Based on our stable practice system, we have recently expanded our offices and are now welcoming talented mid-level attorneys."
