The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is developing two standard contracts — a standard employment contract and a standard service contract — to improve working conditions for technical support workers in the performing arts. A public forum will be held on June 16 at the Seoul Arts Center to collect input from academics, lawyers, and industry representatives, and the contracts are planned to be finalized and promulgated in July after incorporating feedback.

The Supreme Court upheld the Fair Trade Commission's finding that LG Electronics abused its bargaining position by requiring sales specialist dealers who mediated built‑in appliance sales to provide joint guarantees for construction company payments, affirming the corrective order and a fine of 1.865 billion won. The FTC found that from June 2008 to December 2013 LG demanded joint guarantees equal to 20–100% of payment amounts from 29 dealers across 441 transactions totaling about 130.19 billion won, effectively shifting credit risk to the dealers when insurance could not cover risks due to construction companies' credit issues.
